Frank and Alves Weirman
Dear Praying Friends,
I just got word from my sister Anne that my father (age 92) is in the hospital with pneumonia and also a blood infection, and not doing well. My mother (89) has been confused and depressed and very frail since coming home from a long stretch in first a hospital and then a nursing home; she seems to have “given up” and doesn’t want to get out of bed.
Please pray for Anne with all the responsibility she is facing, and the stress she has already had for many months. I thank the Lord that she told me a few months ago that she has “a quiet personal relationship with the Lord”; pray that that relationship will grow and deepen. Pray for my sister Betsey that she will be able to overcome some personal problems to be supportive in this situation.
If / when 1 of them dies, I will probably fly home as soon as possible – which might take a couple days to be arranged from here. I assume I would need to be there about a month. Frank would probably not go with me at this time, since we are planning the trip for Jon’s wedding in August.
Both parents (Mal and Mary Gray) know the Lord. I am trusting Him who does all things for our good and His glory.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer.
